How Local Calendar Sync Works
Local Calendar Sync operates entirely on your device. When you sync calendars, all processing happens locally using Apple's EventKit framework. Your calendar events are read from your device, processed according to your sync rules, and written back to your device's calendar storage.
No internet connection is required for syncing. The app does not communicate with any external servers, APIs, or cloud services for its core functionality.
Data Storage
All data, including your sync rules and preferences, is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage mechanisms. This data is:
- Stored only on your device
- Protected by your device's security
- Included in your device backups (iCloud/iTunes) under your control
- Never transmitted to us or any third party
App Store
Local Calendar Sync is distributed through Apple's App Store. When you download or purchase the app, Apple collects information as part of the App Store transaction according to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to this information beyond basic aggregate statistics that Apple provides to all developers (such as total download counts).

Permissions
Local Calendar Sync requests the following permissions:
- Calendar Access: Required to read and write calendar events for syncing. This permission is controlled by iOS/macOS and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.

Children's Privacy
